I've taken my potshots at the Corolla before, sure, just like any jalop. But... This just showed up in my twitter feed this morning.

Did you see that? Available rear spoiler. Certainly that alone is a powerful enough argument to make it the sole feature one lists in a 140-character twitter ad.

my brother-in-law has the"S" model. It's not bad for what it is. Certainly won't be getting a boner over it any time soon tho.

My friend got into an unfortunate accident and totaled his previous gen Corolla. Then he went and bought the new Corolla S - without telling me!

I haven't been a fan of the car personally, but I want to drive it before I decide how bad it is lol

My point was more that a rear spoiler has nothing to do with the drive wheels. Tires need grip whether they are driven or not

just keep in mind what it is. It's no mustang or lux sedan but for a cheap economy car is not bad. It's a huge step over the previous gen

i tried to get him to drive the WRX and learn how to 5 speed. He had just got a new job with an easy commute. He ended up getting the Corolla before we could go out for a driving lesson. I finally got to it a week ago. It was disastrous. I ended it before he could do any real damage to the car.

Ah gotcha...

I was forced to drive Manual. I found a great deal on a car I could afford when I really really needed one. So I bought it and drove it till I got it right.

I had nothing against manuals from the get go. My first driving lessons were in one. All my parents cars were Manuals.

I wasn't very comfortable with them. Now I love em, and my car :)

Although, I think I'll get a double-clutch next time. I live in Houston. Sometimes, it gets old....
